Antinsky and Xiamen University jointly build a college student practice base, unveiling the plaque

On March 4, 2024, Xiamen Jizhi Chuangxiang Industrial Co., Ltd. and Xiamen University Jiageng College held a grand unveiling ceremony for the college student practice base in Classroom 203 of the College of Science and Technology. This event marks the joint establishment of a 3D printing maker workshop by both parties, providing students with a platform for practice and innovation.

Li Yi, General Manager of Xiamen Jizhi Chuangxiang Industrial Co., Ltd., Fang Liang, Dean of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and Automation at Jiageng College of Xiamen University, You Xiaoping, Secretary of the Party Branch, Zhao Xingen, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch, and representatives of teachers and students attended the unveiling ceremony. The event is hosted by Zhang Wenqiong, Assistant Dean of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and Automation.

At the unveiling ceremony, Dean Fang Liang first expressed sincere gratitude on behalf of Xiamen University Jiageng College to Xiamen Jizhi Chuangxiang Industrial Co., Ltd. for its support in teaching and talent cultivation. He provided a detailed introduction to the professional construction, talent cultivation, employment status, and school enterprise cooperation of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and Automation. Dean Fang pointed out that cultivating applied and versatile talents has always been the teaching goal of the college. Currently, the college has established cooperative relationships with nearly 70 enterprises in the Xiamen Zhangjiakou area, providing students with a broad platform for practice and internship.

General Manager Li also shared his experience of being exposed to and learning 3D printing technology during his university years, and expressed his expectations for school enterprise cooperation to jointly cultivate talents. He said that with the continuous progress of technology, 3D printing technology has become increasingly close to our lives. He hopes that through this cooperation, more students will have the opportunity to be exposed to and learn about this cutting-edge technology.

Subsequently, both the school and the enterprise jointly unveiled the plaque for the practical teaching base for college students, and had in-depth interactive exchanges on the construction plan of the 3D printing maker park. Student representatives also shared their understanding and understanding of 3D printing technology, and asked related questions. Attending teachers and business representatives provided detailed answers one by one.

This school enterprise cooperation will further promote the construction of the 3D printing maker park and assist students from Xiamen University's Jiageng College in participating in various competitions. It is reported that the preliminary construction of the 3D printing maker park will be carried out through online knowledge dissemination, professional team guidance, and independent printing by students, aiming to attract more students to understand and learn 3D printing technology.
